Subject: Family Class application |

I am married to a Canadian citizen and we are currently living in Central America , my wife has been approved as my sponsor and CIC started processing my application as a permanent residence on Feb 04.
I got a letter from them saying that an interview is not requiered at this point and they are expecting to finalize the process without it.
They are waiting for the background checks , because I lived in Canada as a turist for over a year (i.e under a legal status)and they are waiting for my police record from the RCMP.
Is it a good thing? (It is clean though)
Has anybody been in a situation like this?
How are the Immigration officers at the point of entry ? are they kind or......
Cheers

(in reply to: Family Class application) it does not get any better. From everything I hear, immigration officers at point of entry are very respectful and helpful.
