I am wondering if you guys´ statement of english proficiency were written by hand or printed out by using a computer. Mine was printed out, then bear my signature. I heard somebody´s applications were returned becaused the letter was typed instead of hand written. If you would like to share some information, I would greatly appreciate. By the way, the visa office I applied to is Buffalo.

I would recommend it be hand written. that way the immigration officer can compare your hand writing to your application form. hopefully that will convince them that you actually thought out and wrote the document.

Ok so what will you write in the letter whether it is hand written or printed? JUST THINK !!!!

The letter is nothing but a means to bring to the attention of CIC all the attached evidence which factually proves your lang. efficiency. The CIC would never commit the stupidity of rejecting a signed document or only accepting a hand written doc. If that was the case I can´t stop laughing imagining CIC asking to hand write all the forms too.

GROW UP PEOPLE!!!
