| Subject: Work Experience Certificate |

I intend to apply for Canada Immigration. I have a small qury regarding the work experience certificate. Is it mendatory to provide this certificate along with the file? I won´t be able to get the certificate from my previous and current employer. Can any body guide me what should I do in this sitiation? Will it be sufficient to present the appointment letter, slaray certificates? Plese reply me asap.

Yes, it is necessary to submit all the company related certificates and doc. as the Brochures, Joining letter, Experience letter which shoul include your job´s duty & responsibilities and salary. If you can you have to submit also increments of salary and promotion letter.

If you can´t submit the letter of employment it is OK. The information given above is not true. CIC understands situations where you are unable to submit these. However you must explain clearly the reasons to them why you can´t submit the letter.
However it is good that you have the appointment letter, and the pay stubs. This is proof enough of your employment.
In your case make a detailed explanation of all the work duties etc. on paper and send them.

I agreee with the above postings bt it is strongly recommended to send the certificate of eployment from employer...as prescribed in specific visa office instructions

Thanks for your prompt response.
As I understand certificate/letter of employment means appointment letter. Pls correct me if I am wrong.
I do have and can present appointment letters, salary slips, salary certificate and increment/promotion letter/appraisal letters. However, I do not have and can not manage to get the Experience Certificate which describes my job responsibilities.
At the most I can get work experience certificate in very simple format containing my designation and tenure of experience. But that too appears bit blurred. I will not be able to get the detailed experience certificate showing job responsibilities along with projects on which I have worked so far. As an alternative, Can I make a detailed work experience history for myself?
You must be aware that nowadays, due to cut-throat competition, employers are reluctant for giving such certificates for immigration purpose.Which valid reason should I give to Immigration authority for not producing work experience certificate?
