Subject: Sending Documents to CIC Buffalo
  Hi,

I applied as a skilled worker at Buffalo, got my AOR in Feb, 2005. When I sent in my application, I had not sent a PCC from India, and also now I got my PCC from Indian embassy, also got my IELTS exam results, And also I am resending latest employment (currently dated) experience letters from my current and past employers (just to make sure). Also I intend to send other docs as well with this. So please advise me whats the best way to send these documents?, registered mail? certified mail? priority mail? ordinary? fedex? courier? what kind of mail does CIC accept or not accept?. Also please let me know after I send these docs, will CIC Buffalo confirm with me that they received or will they acknowledge atleast that they received this and have been added on to my file? Will the E-Client status be updated because of this? will they mail us a receipt? Please help!!!!

Please use FEDEX, UPS or Certified USPS only so you have a confirmation of delivery.

Unfortunately no, CIC does not confirm reciept of documents, what they do is update your file with docs recieved.

You can order your CAIPS notes about 1 month after you have sent your documents to confirm reciept of these.
