Subject: Now what? (Hungary applicant)
My husband is in Hungary and we have been in process for his portion of the PR application since April 7th. On June 21, the website said that they have recieved the medical report and a decision was made on the file and that they would inform of us in writing of their decision. We had no interview request. Is this good or bad news? How long do we have to wait for the letter that states their decision? And what happens next?

It´s unfortunate but Canadian immigration offices all over the world are slow. Nothing much to do but wait. I would wait until at least six months after my medical test to contact an immigration office asking on the progress of my file.

Just to let you know. My husband got a letter from the embassy in Vienna requesting his passport. He sent it to them today. It looks like we are nearing the end of our wait!
