Subject: Sponsoring Spouse and Children
  Hello everyone!

Since my husband and children are not accompanying dependents, I planned to sponsor them when I get to Canada. About 1 to 3 months after my arrival. I already have gathered some documents and forms for my sponsorship application. In the Sponsorship Evaluation Form, there is this question if I?m employed or not and also my net personal income for the 12-month period preceding the date of my application. Does this mean that I have to wait for 12 months before I can sponsor them? What if I am unemployed?

You replies are greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much and good luck to all!

I think you can apply as long as you have a job. you have to prove that you can look after them when they get here.

Actually, I already have a job offer when I get there. Thanks Sharon for the replies.
