Subject: No paper proving that I underwent the medical exam |

Hi all,
I had my medical exam requested by the immigration today in Canada. On the application forms I had (I´m asking for PR through a sponsorship), it says that the doctor has to give me a copy of a form, so that I can sent it with all my immigration papers. That proves that I underwent the medical exam.
But the doctor said he didn´t have this form, and that immigration requirements have changed, the form is no longer needed. According to him, he´ll send the papers himself in Canada.
Can someone confirm that for me?

(in reply to: No paper proving that I underwent the medical exam) The doctor is correct. You do not get any form or paper from him. All medicals are confidential and must be sent directly to CIC.
Keep your reciepts of payment for your record from the doctor. This is your proof that medicals were done.

(in reply to: No paper proving that I underwent the medical exam) Alright, well thx for confirming that for me.
I just got confused cause that´s not what´s written in the immigration forms - they really stress the fact that you must send the paper.
Guess I´ll be okay then.

(in reply to: No paper proving that I underwent the medical exam) Those are probably the old rules. Now doctors send this info themselves without showing you the results of med. test.
