Is there a fixed-time period for medicals to be received by CHC, or it depends on where done, and the case of the person, ...? What´s the average time for meds in the middle east, specifically Damascus CHC office?

(in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) 6 to 8 months, but keep in touch with them, sometimes they inform you only days before your visa expired .
[that is my information from people who applied there]

Boooooooooo (in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) Hi
I applied very long ago, very early 2001. But I´m still waiting for meds results/pp request.
Why do they make it so long? 6-8 months? Boooo! I mean what´s this? I have friends who got it in 3 months after their medicals done (not received) which means three months from the day they went to the doctor.

(in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) I don´t think so diamond , I know many people who applied there in Syria ,they are all telling the same story .
6 to 8 months BUT BEWARE ! why beware ? Because most of them had their PR visa only days before it expired .
So what I can advise here is to keep in contact with the embassy and be always ready .
Good Luck !
And don´t forget to tell me when you get it, OK ?

(in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) Thanks Lina.
But how come my friend got it within 3 months? Maybe because the old cases are to be finalized and get rid of such piles of applications.
Where are you from? Did you apply as a skilled worker?

(in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) From Syria, living and applied as an entrepreneur In UK, and now in Canada on a visit .
Don´t forget to tell me when you get it, and if you want to send me then start a new thread because it is now hard to find your name among this jungle of pages and questions.

(in reply to: Hardest waiting time ever) Hi
It´s really hard to wait in the last phase, especially after a very long waiting period.
But I guess it´s on the way. Coming soon. very soon.
Good luck for all applicants.
