Hi,
I have just received my passport request. The letter requesting the passport says "You must provide the passport to the office as soon as possible".
They have not mentioned a specific number of days before which I should present the passport. I am planning to go to Buffalo in person and get the passport stamped 3 weeks after receiving the letter. Is that okay.
Does anyone know the deadline of presenting the passport.
at the buffalo consulate.
Thanks
Nishant

(in reply to: Passport Request) Try to get it before your medical expires.

Generally in small leters they give the date and time and i believe u that u must have seen. But in my case i was asked to send in 2months time along with theright of landing fee.And all this is from the LA consualte.if u have the possibility of going to the consulate do that thta will be easy for u.

(in reply to: Passport Request) Do LA consulate allows to bring passport in-person? They asked to send it through mail and it can take 3 weeks to process.
Can I request that visa be issued until certain date llike until 6 months from now
