did your wife tried to call the chc new delhi or contacted them in person , mine 3 months have been over , if i dont hear till saturday then i think we have a problem

I called the CHC New Delhi... last week, as you know all I could do is leave a message...I am sure they will send us something soon, if they wanted some information on our case they would have asked us for that !

I am not sure if would answer you...I had called them a month back.
I know these are tough times....its been nine months I have not met my wife...and even more in your case. As I said before we should here something in a weeks time !

The call centre voicemail in New Delhi states that no inquiries will be answered unless they are faxed or mailed to them.
Unless it has been more than 4 mnths since your application was sent to the CHC in Mississagua, they will respond with in 48 hrs if they consider your inquiry urgent. If not then you have to wait 60 days for a response. If you guys have been waiting for more than 9 mnths for a response, you shld ask your wives to send a letter or fax indicating they have been waiting a while for a response.

This webssite is for the CHC in New Delhi and if you call the immigration ph #, the automated system states all that info.
Anon, where in the processing stage are you? Has your sponsor been approved and you are now waiting for a passport or interview letter? or have you already sent them your passport? How about KJ? How far along is he?
I submited my husband´s application in early February and have been approved, recieved the letter on Feb 25/05, so ND started processing his application on March 8/05, so now we are just waiting for some kind of response from ND.
For those of us who have applied in February, it may be a long wait due to the number of people who returned to Canada after spending XMAS in India...could be the reason for the backlog of cases in ND.

they started processing my wifes application on jan 23rd and we did send everthing to them , but till today there is no response as to what has happen , even we got the request to send the passport by feb 18th, we have sent faxes to them no respones , chc new delhi takes 3 months from the time it starts the processing of the app
In your case have they asked for the passport or not

ND started to process our case on 2nd Feb, the first letter they sent us was on 9th Feb stating they received our application, it went to say that it would take 3 months for them to process the application. I would say we would hear soon from them ...a week or two.
Based on your timeline I would definitely say that ND is busy cause per their process time in the past, you should have received some kind of communication from them by this time !
