I´m forced to bring this up. Could the Dec 2003 / Jan-Feb 2004 applicants please share their timeline. It seems the column of application is come to a halt!!
I did my medicals in October 2004 and submitted all documents in Dec 2004. From then on nothing from CIC-Buffalo...

QQQ, You are not alone. My timeline: Oct 03/application submitted, Jan 04/AOR, July 04/IA, Aug 04/Medical, Sept 04/FBI fingerprint & additional doc submmitted, PPR pending.... Ordered CAIPS two weeks back.. Hang in there.

Sent my caips requests by regular mail on Mar 08 and received on Apr 08 - exactly 30 days.

i have the exact same time line as the orginal poster. i also ordered caips notes 7 weeks ago. i haven´t received it yet.

This is not normal, I applied in March 04 and I have sent my PP last week for stamping. You might need to investigate what´s going on with your cases. Good luck.

My Timeline is something like this:
(Hubby is from Australia)
April 15 04 - Submit app. to CIC Miss. - Did not pay ROLF when I sent it forward.
May 07 04 - Sent back...missing info Re: Address in Aus.
June 04 - They rec´d the file remitted.
July 08 04 - i was approved to sponsor my hubby. The case will be filed in buffalo (instead of Sydney - wish we had done it there now)
Aug 09 04 - Buffalo sent confirmation of file rec´d. Started processing.
Dec.16 04 - Rec´d letter that Hubby is approved and file is being finalized. No interview required. No further docs req´d.
By March I thought..wait...why have they not asked for the ROLF yet? The last letter we got in Dec. said the fees can be paid at any time during the process.
March 30 05 - Paid ROLF cause I was tired of waiting.
April 1st 05 - Went to CIC office. Said all was approved and that it shouldn´t be long.
April 20 05 - Checked in again and they said his Medicals were extended to June 8th 05.
I called the MP yesterday cause I am concerned we won´t get a letter before his meds expire. This is something I could not deal with cause my hubby has a huge fear of getting needles and he had to be put out the first time to draw blood.
MP called me back and said all looks good from this end.
BUT she needs to inquire at Buffalo. She says we should have been done by now!
Hmph! So what now?
Yes there seems to be some delay...i wish we could get somewhere!
