TV programs were interrupt by Prime Minister??s television speech. He apologized for the government corruption. Somehow I feel this is Watergate Canadian version. Opposition seems didn??t buy Martin??s speech. I feel so sad, Separatist Bloc Quebec party has excuses to attack federalism.
Today there is another scandal related to immigration issues, in 1995, 15,000 immigrants in QC were fast processing to Canadian citizen in order to strengthen Federalism.

Guys, any thought about tonight? What a great reality show?

Personally, I do not approve of Martin, or the Liberals. Once I immigrate, I will join the NDP as they are social democrats as me.

That said, I think that the best speech was given by Harper, a man I don´t approve of. But his speach was dead on, and appropriate. I am disappointed that Jack Layton didn´t attack more. Gilles Duceppe, good responce, but mirrored Harper´s too much.

I don´t think people buy Martin´s position, and there will be an election before the Gomery Commision is finished with their inquiry. But, that is just my meager speculation as an American in Ohio.

In my opinion, addressing public directly was smart and courageous move from the PM, and what I realize here that still people love Martin especially Torontonians .
If I were PR I could support The Librals .

I think the Liberals are as guilty as sin. I have voted for them in ever election except the last one. I learned to love my country with when Mr Trudeau was around. all that said, I think there is no advantage to calling an election today. let Gomery finish the job and then wipe the liberals off the face of the map... at least for one term. the Conservatives are not that evil and perhaps the liberals will do so significant soul searching while they sit in opposition and change their ways.

If CIC can fast process citizenship as big as 15,000 QC immigrants in 1995, how comes they are so slow right now? It all serves for political purpose.

Let me clear this, base on understanding, if I were citizen. I don??t want to have election right now. Because federal budget haven??t process yet, if this parliament was gone before new budget can be approved, lots of social service cannot get money, some big project might be pending again.

I didn??t live in NDP B.C before 2001; I came to B.C on 2002. Everybody kicked liberal and Golden Campel??s ass in my college. It??s true liberal cut social service. However, B.C and whole Canada do have fewer deficits than it used to be.
Yep, at the time NDP was in B.C, tuition does seem so low, then college facility can not be improved.

However, I don??t think I totally understand Canadian politics. I just want to express my thought. I do need much time to understand this country.
