Subject: No news after 62 weeks of processing!!!
  Hi all,

I am really very much frustrated at the way the processing is being done.....i applied from the middle east to CIC London on Feb 23, 2004.....i have not heard anything yet from the CIC regarding either IA or medicals.....it seems the long wait never seems to end!!! Has anyone got any idea as to when to expect my IA or medicals.....kindly put in your thoughts......

thanx and regards

The average (2004) time-line for London cases as listed on CIC website is similar to Buffalo, NY. Based on the time-line of Buffalo you should have heard on your IA. It does not hurt to casually remind CIC on the status (i.e. fax them)

Bino, I applied around the same time as you. I live in Oman at the moment, and sent my application to London in December 2003. I didn´t hear anything for a long time, and only last month I received my medicals & very soon thereafter received my passport request last week. So hang in there, you should hear from them soon.

There should be a new line in CIC´s Application Processing Times as follows:
NB: "If you are from middle east, the above times are not applicable to you. Sorry, but your wait may take forever. If are not gonna live for at least 100 years, please do not bother applying. Apparently, this is not pure racism as we need to make sure that George W is satisfied."

same here..dragging on and on and on.... (in reply to: No news after 62 weeks of processing!!!)
Hello all, I´m sponsoring my parent´s who live in the UAE, I applied late July 2002. The approval from Mississauga came in early October 2002; the file was received at London??s office: December 3rd 2002.
An interview was done on October 5/2004
all background checks were in by March 20/2005
we received the medical forms just last week, and the tests were done and sent back by the doctor.
I just hope now that it won´t take that long for LONDON office to send the passports request and issue the Visas.
Does anybody know the average time frame for issuing the visa from the time medicals are sent (London??s office)??? I??m so sick of this whole thing??
