hello everyone,
i am in usa. so how do i send my passport to the canadian consulate in new delhi. if i travel to new delhi to get my passport stamped how long does it take like a day, week or months. i am a student here on an f1 visa and am in the middle of my semester. so all replies would help me plan my travel as well as my academics.

Hi,
Be careful, it takes from 4 weeks to three months. My visa stamping took 3 months and it was so frustating. But what I did helped me. One of my friend was going to India and he took my passport and mailed it to Canadian Consulate from India with my home address in India. The one guy was comming to USA and he brought my papers and passport from my home. Alwasy keep photocopy of your passport with you with a authorization letter to the person who is carrying your passport.

Other thing you can do is write to CHC-Delhi and explain your situation and request an appointment for stamping.
