Subject: 2 year Buffalo processing time???
Am I misunderstanding something, or is the Canadian CIC website telling me typical processing time through Buffalo for Federal Skilled Worker category is about 2 years? It reads cases are averaging finalization between 20 - 31 months, with 50% completed in 2 years! Is everyone else here resigned to waiting 2+ years for results?

Unfortunately that seems the case...

I did my medicals in Nov 3004 and paid ROLF fees in Dec 2004...

Still waiting to hear from CIC - Buffalo...

Really frustrated without any status... ordered my CAIPS notes in March... waiting on those...

A 1000-year wait must be grueling to ***** He certainly has my sympathies. However, if you want to land in Canada while your paperwork is being processed, find a job, get a W1 visa and land... prematurely and wait for the PR process to complete at its own pace. I welcome myself into Canada.... just to make ya fellers jealous.... I have just arrived in Atlantic Canada this 1st day of May 2005. I am quite sure PR and rest of the crap will follow suit.... I just need to relax, buy a house and get to work.... See ya ppl around.

Dear "In Canada",
Yes, you sure did take intiative and pushed your way there. Not sure if Canadian immigration law intended PR applicants to go about it this way. You can smile at the rest of us who follow procedure, but the whole point is to respect the laws and intended processes of the country you admire enough to want to move to.
