Subject: Sharing timeline from Dhaka/Singapore
  Hello,
I have submitted family class PR application on 20th March 2005 through a law farm to CPC-Missisauga office. Since then no reply at all. not even about sponsorship approval. Can anybody tell how long it takes for the first stage approval?
I have applied from Dhaka. I was Sponsored by my wife(canadian citizen) who has been living with me in Dhaka since Nov 2004 after marriage.

Is it the case that if some sponsor lives outside of candaa then they take much more time to take decision?

Moreover could anyone please share experinece for interview conducted in Dhaka consulate where the application is preocessed by Singapore office?

Regards
Shahriar

They do not say it but it is true that if the sponsor lives outside Canada, it takes longer to approve. Wait some more.... you could actually hear this week or next..... it just takes extra time.

I have no idea about the interview stuff.

Good luck!

Isn´t it the mandate to reunite spouses living apart as quick as possible? If you are together with the sponser not living in Canada, I have a feeling the priority slips.
