Subject: Paris Gang...
Hi every -one I have just recieved some good news today from Paris by phone. Spousal appl. They asked us to pay the Rolf and the officer said that as soon as Missuagia inform them of payment, they will send out PP they even told me that the PR visa would be valid until october 13.
So I can now finally get things going concerning the move..
How ever I have a question concerning how to pay Rolf from France. WE have a& canadian credit card should I use that.
Or send transfer from a Bank here in France or use a Canadian Bank...What is the quickest way?? Thks.

John.
I have just checked the Paris Embassy web-site and they say that amounts over 500 euros must be made by bank transfer. It also states that you can transfer money to the embassy in paris. This is strange as this must be something new, before you had to send it Canada missugia.

Post your e-mail this is not material I would like to post on forum...

Hey Mogs,

That is great that you are asked to pay the ROLF. My husband´s case was processed at the Paris office so I have a bit of information about this for you. Fees for Family Class applications can not be paid to visa offices abroad. So you are only able to pay this fee to Mississauga as it is a spousal application. I was told this from my case officer in Paris. You can pay this fee on the internet or with an international bank draft or money order.

When we had to pay the fee, we decided to use the internet option. It is quite simple. Once you are finished you have to print out a recipt which has a number on it. The bottom part you need to fill in and then send it to Mississauga. I sent this receipt on valentines day and on March 3 the letter that they received my payment was written. They then told Paris that I had paid the fee and that the visa could now be issued. I must stress, when sending the envelope to Mississauga, please write RPRF on the envelope so it does not sit with all the other spouse application awaiting approval.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and I will try and help you anyway I can. Good Luck!

if you would cross your fingers for us... we have a phone call appointment with Paris tomorrow morning to sort out our latest mess. we have disappeared off e-client, and they cannot locate the file. Mean time we are patiently waiting for our PP request.

We are beginning to think there is a conspiracy out there.

Sharon,
Do not worry it will be ok. It just seems like a comedy of errors your case, or should I say your Man´s case.
Since you have not done commonlaw or spousal application... ("He should come on his own merit")

To be frank if you are not able to sponser a supposed loved one, and still claim he is your man... I Feel that, maybe there are some doubts out there.
CIC might feel them aswell

Love will always find a way....

This is what I know and believe....

Of course I will cross fingers and toes but is that engough??

we cannot fufill the one year living requirments. I am older than he is... consultant told us we were dead in the water before we even started. For all intents and purposes, he is being sponsored... just not according to CIC. PR through Paris is supposed to take less than 1 year... so we looked at all the pros and cons of both tracks of immigration and elected to go the skilled worker route. He qualified... why not let him walk through the front door with his 75 points. I do not exist to Paris. He could not even claim me for adaptability points.
