Subject: US mail: how safe and reliable?
how safe and reliable is regular u.s. mail? i am in nepal currently and my case has been finalized in buffalo, where i have to send my passport. i won´t be able to enclose pre-paid u.s. express mail envelope. in this case, they´ll use regular u.s. mail to my address in new jersey. any thought on this is highly appreciated!

US Mail (in reply to: US mail: how safe and reliable?)
As far as my experience with US mail, they are probably one of the most reliable especially within US. You need not send a prepaid envelope, they will send your passport by normal mail to your address in NJ. Make sure your name appears in the mail box. Some times the letter is sent back if your name does not appear in the mailbox. If it your friend´s/ relative´s address, tell him to add your name in their mailbox for few days.

In my experience US mail is the most unreliable. I think you should do DHL, UPS or something like that...
