| Subject: Can a PR in process apply for Study permit (Delhi) |

I have a question with anyone who knows this.
I am from India and have applied for PR in New Delhi. It´s been 18 months approx.
Can I now apply for a student visa if I am admitted for a PG Diploma Course.
Some say - Consulate would not grant student visa as they know that the person is trying to get in early.
Some say - Consulate will ask me to withdraw 1 application - either a PR or the Student visa.
Has anyone in this forum applied with the similar kind of scenario.

many ofmy friends did.If university is good and the course also and on the hwoleit make sense then I donot think there would be any problem.but yes if you are going to some private college then only god can help you.
