| Subject: Right of Permanent Residence Fee |

I got a letter yesterday from Buffalo requesting me to remit my Right of Permanent Residence Fees within 30 days. They also told me that the final decision will made sometime after the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is received. However, I learned from my friends that usually Right of Permanent Residence Fees and passports are asked to be sent to Buffalo at the same time. My question is why they ask me to remit my Right of Permanent Residence Fees without sending my passports? Is there anything wrong with my application? Thanks a lot in advance.

Different RPC have different procedures. As far as I know in Buffalo (USA) applicants are first asked to pay ROLF. After the fee is paid the passport request is sent out.

i remitted my fee in nov 2003. i passed the selection criteria with out interview same time. dont worry, you will get it but i cant say with in what period of time. I am still waiting. its been a while now. lets see what happens now?

don´t worry dude! u r almost done. u should be getting passport request within a month of the fee submission. mine was the similar situation. i got my ppr within one month after they received the rprf.

HI every one,
After 3 years waiting, I have received an email from the Canadian embassy to pay the RPRF withing 30 days for me and my family which is fine. However I have not received any medical request test yet? so I was wondering if anyone could maybe advice on the sequence? as far as I know, we should have first received medical tests, does it mean it will be asked later? and how long will it take from now till we receive the visas? considering the medical tests involved? Thank you very much in advance for your help.
