Subject: Change in work profile
I had applied under "Skilled Worker" category in Oct2004. My work profile then was technical in software testing domain. I am working in a Fortune 500 IT Firm. Last month I became a "People Manager" in the same company, which is drastically different from technical profile. I have two concerns here :
1. Would the change in profile hamper my chances of immigration ?
2. Do I need to inform the CIC of the same ?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

if you don´t inform them, do you think they gonna somehow know that? If you inform them, do you think it will speed up your cases instead of confuse cic officer since they have quite work load

Hey Bang,

I suggest you should inform the CIC about the change. While doing the background check etc. they´ll contact your employers and check references so don´t you think it´ll be confusing for them to get the surprise. Better be safe, even if it adds to their workload bcoz that´s what they instruct us to do.

cheers!
