Hi there,
Thank you once again for your speedy reply. I just had one last question around. Cool you had mentioned about Bcheck. In my CAIPS it was mentioned that our RCMP check was negative. Does it mean that they wont do Background check.. or they do it for everyone? Whats does Bkground check invovle?

Background check is totally different from criminal check which is mostly covered by police certificates. Background check is the check for your credentials (work experience, education and ...) and may be coducted either by the visa post you applied to or other visa posts.
The most time consuming check is security check and it´s conducted by CSIS and is totally out of CIC´s control.
These checks are independent and none of them will be waived because you passed another one.

Anonymous has given you a fine answer. Yes background checks, security checks, criminality checks all these three are totally independent of each other, while background check involves your credit history, your debt history, driving record etc etc. the criminality check is passed based on inputs from the FBI fingerprints, your home country Police clearance cert´s, the security check is handled like anonymous said by CSIS an agency which CIC has to consult to formally give a green signal or a red to security checks..hope this helps..
