Hi I applied in Oct 04 for PR (skilled) at Buffalo..got my aor in feb 05, got my caips on april 1st week..caips indicates they have not even assessed my application but the BDEC (background) is cleared it says -- 1 xx-xx-2005 and also SEC(security) is 1. and both SEC AND BDEC are cleared just a week after my AOR..so what does this suggest..and rest of my file has not been assesed yet. So will this anyways speed up my case because background and security is over..and also CRIM is blank (not yet done). Also is background and security same or different..

I don´t know, but I also had a similar thing in my CAIPS notes. I applied in August as a skilled worker. I have my IA now, but I haven´t requested any updated CAIPS notes.

Could you please tell me when you got ur AOR..also please let me know how does an IA look..do they send you a letter saying you have this many points etc..and do they mail it to you..also how many points do you have according to ur IA..what does it say?..r u married..what about language, work exp, and education..please give me details thanks..have they asked for any document or medical with ur IA?

Seems that immigration Canada has come to the conclusion that even a slow-learner brain could come to long time ago: PARALLEL PROCESSING.
There have been tens of thousands of complaints within past 2-3 years about serial processing in CIC which had caused extensive backlogs and waiting times of up to 5 years. Now, the question is why CIC kept insisting on its absolutely *wrong* policies and simply killed several thousand years of people´s lives???????
Sharon, Yijie, other CIC defendants, any idea???
