Subject: Timeline Update (In Process)
  Hi everyone,

I live in Korea with my Filipina wife, and I?m sponsoring her with the hope of us arriving in Canada by next Christmas.

I?ve decided to update my timeline every time I see even an inkling of progress. At his early stage it?s kind of therapeutic for me to do this, and hopefully it will provide insight to anyone who may be starting a similar journey.

The most recent news (just today) is that my wife?s PR Application status changed to ?In Process.? I have a feeling that because my wife is not a citizen of the country where she is applying from, it may take longer to complete her application. So I guess this is where the waiting really begins. At least we get to wait it out together.

RACHUNEK, I guess you?ll be heading back to Canada in another month or two. I hope your process moves along rapidly so you don?t have so spend too much time apart from each other. I guess since your sponsor application has been approved, you could opt to stay longer or return to Poland again if you really want to, though.

Best wishes!

Oh yeah, here is my timeline:

Sponsor Application arrives at CPC-M on Feb 21st (applied to sponsor from Korea)
Processing starts on Mar 9th
Sponsorship approved on Apr 8th
My wife?s PR Application arrives in Seoul and processing begins on May 3rd
Her status changes to ?In Process? on May 9th.

Hey Mike

I am still waiting to see "In Process" for my wife´s application. We have not even heard if it is has arrived in Warsaw yet. The letter I received about approval said it had been sent so we are assuming it is there. My wife said they probably will not update e-client since they are most likely lazy.

You are right, I am leaving here at the end of June. Only 7 weeks of teaching to go. It is very exciting to be finally moving back to Canada but it will be so hard to leave my wife here. We hope it will only be a short separation.

I wish you luck in the process.....I hope it goes quickly and painlessly.I will keep you up to date on my process.

Have a great day!
