Subject: Including Fiance/wife in application
  Hi There...
Here is my case... I have applied for my PR at Buffalo in March 2004. I have been studying in Canada since Sept 1998 and finished my school in Aug 2003.

Last year in November I went back to my home country and gor engaged... but naturally I did not add my fiance´s info in the PR application as she is not my wife yet... but I want to get her here in Canada as soon as I can...

How is that possible... Should I get married and add her into the application as well... I havent got my initial assessment beside the file no. and would it be safe if the application goes as a joint application?

What is the best remedy out of this immigration vertigo...

Some help??? Tips??? Pointer???

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The practical way is to get married through court. You can add your wife immediately. Benefit here is; you can accumulate more points based on the spouse.

Good idea.... but... (in reply to: Including Fiance/wife in application)
Thats a good idea but does that pull my file back a few months...
Mind that I have just received the file no. and nothing else...

How will that affect my processing...

Thanks.
