Can I use a P.O. Box as the mailing address for sending the PR app. (federal skilled class) to Buffalo?
Or should the mailing address be a "street address" ?

Hey Newbee..dont take anonymous´s word on the post box..be very careful..on this..issue..check it with someone who knows the rules..or check in the CIC website itself...I think anonymous is wrong on this..u should have a street address..

Curry is right. Do not use PO BOX. You have to have a street address. Because they do not take any responsibility for lost mail. That is why theu ask for Express mail from us mail for return envelope.

You can use your P.O.BOX for mailing purposes. Its even better, because if you move from one place to another, you dont have to change the mailing address and create the whole confusion of lost mail and mail forwarding, etc... I have been updating the consulate with my physical address and mailing address. They have both and I get my mail at the mailing address which is a P.O.BOX.

On the initial application they ask for a mailing address and permananent address. I put a PO Box for my mailing address and the street address where I physically live as my permanent address. Buffalo mailed my AOR to my PO Box. That was not a problem. So yes, you can use a PO Box.

In the initial application I put both physical address as well as mailing address as my physical address..so how do i change my mailing address to po box now??

what if i don´t enclose a self adressed pre-paid enevlope? would the buffalo consulate return using a regular US mail? i am asking this as i am not in the u.s. or canada and unable to enclose a pre-paid envelope. i appreciate.
