Subject: Permanent Residency Question...Help |

Hi, 3 years ago, when I applied for my Canadian citizenship, I guess I?ve made a mistake by putting a check mark on the wrong marital status. I put ?separated? while I was married. My wife was not living with me then, she was still at her home country, but we were married. I am now living with wife and son outside Canada, but my work contract is about to finish, so I am planning to go back. Since my wife is not a Canadian citizen, I have to apply for her permanent residency; however, I am afraid what I have mentioned about my marital status in the application for citizenship would create a problem. Your advice would be appreciated. TB.
