| Subject: Work permit to visitor visa? |

My current work permit will end in Aug and the permit condition mentioned that i must leave canada before it ends. I wonder if i can now apply for a visitor visa? So as soon as the work permit ends, the visitor visa will just carry over. Thus it will leave me sometime to pack and travel a bit before i leave canada.
If yes, how can i do it and how long it will take?
