Hi, everyone. My name is Tatyana. I am from Russia.
I applied as skill worker through the Buffalo office in N.Y.
My application was submitted - May 2004.
I received the med .forms - January 2005.
Send all additional documents - January 2005.
Underwent med. exam ? February 2005.
Doctor holds my forms for 2 months ( cannot find replace for sick doctor).
So, he send them to Canada ? April 2005.
I order CAIPS ? April 2005.
Well, even I received job offer from Canadian hospital and they tried to get me as fast as possible, it has no effect on my processing time .
This is just to add some statistics on how long some people waiting.

tonight CBC national, one 10,000 population town in Ontario will have not even one family doctor next month,
can´t understand why they can´t fast process foreign doctor?

I am not a doctor. I am radiology technologist ( XRay tech.)
But, there still very hight needs for any medical workers.
I was hopping that job offer may speed up my processing time, but did not happend.
Plus, on the top of this the Canadian hospital wrote to me that they cannot wait for me any longer and if I won´t recieve any answer by June 16, I won´t have job offer anymore.

When was your file transferred? I applied at the same time and still waiting for file transfer. They say it´s due to background checks taking so long. I thought it was because I was from Russia, but apparently it isn´t.
