  Hi All,
I have 2 questions.First I have sent the Permanent residence fee...Can I expect a receipt from the CIC?If not Should I fax them asking for a receipt? Second how long does it usually take after medicals...How long before they contact you if something is wrong and you require additional tests.
Thanks for any input.

Answers to your questions :

Question: I have sent the Permanent residence fee...Can I expect a receipt from the CIC?If not Should I fax them asking for a receipt?
Ans: CIC does not send receipt for your RPRF. But if you have paid it by bank draft check with your bank that the draft/check is encashed or not. In my case I contacted bank and they told me that the draft was encahed. If you sent the fee by Money Order than check with the post office and I am sure there are ways to know this too. Ask post office.

Question : How long does it usually take after medicals...How long before they contact you if something is wrong and you require additional tests.
Answer: There is no specific time but usually 6-9 weeks after medical. Looking to this 6-9 weeks I think they will contact you in the same time period if something is wrong with your medicals. Other members please help.
