Subject: Ph.D. studies as a work experience - 2
  Hi,

I am currently obtaining my Ph.D. degree in engineering. From a previous answers to a question whether Ph.D. studies can be accepted as a work experience the preliminary answer was NO. I am wondering whether this ALWAYS is true or it depends on kind of Ph.D. studies.

In my case I don?t have a scholarship, rather I?m employed as a government employee (I have a contract which is similar to the contract of any other government employee, and states e.g. that I have to work at least 37 hours weekly) and as a part of my Ph.D. study I have to teach undergraduate students for at least 800 hours during the 3 year period.
Can any of this be regarded as work experience??
