Subject: interview waiver
  Hi
I applied for immigartion to canada from dubai i.e to CHC London thru an agent in August 2003 and I recd AOR in December 2003.
I had been checking the e-status and it was always showing in process stating that "we started to process ur application on DEC 31 2003" and it still does.
I recd a letter in December from CHC London asking me furnish the updated proof of funds and PCC.
My question is: Does this mean interview waiver and if so how long will it take.
Please can somebody throw some light on this.
Also should I have go in for CAIPS to see the details. Is it worth?
Thanking You
Pushpa

Am not familiar with CHC, London. I was also sent an interview waiver letter and asked for medicals and proof of funds at that time. I sent them all......and after a month received another letter asking me to send proof of funds once again. As I was ready for the immigration process and had my funds locked, there was no problem getting the proof again and sending it across. A month later I received PP request......

Thats it.
Best luck.

Thanx for ur reply
I am yet to receive the interview waiver letter. They have just asked to provide updated proof of funds and latest PCC which I had submitted in Jan 2005 and after that I have not recd any news from them.
Can I assume that my interview will be waived. This is what my agent says, that it is likely to be waived.

It is most likely yes.

I had my interview waived too , but I never recieved a letter by this meaning. I got the AOR, medical request, update on PCC, then request to pay landing fees and submit the passport.

Good luck.

Hello again, from my understanding (discussions with friends...) I think they are reviewing your file and trying to get the info ascertained. If your qualifications and credentials in general are good, and have been employed for quite sometime, and I presume you are an Indian, your interview should in all probabilities be waived. That is my gut feeling from what you have said. Even if there is one, they are going to ask you some standard letters, certificates, testimonials etc......start relaxing and plan for a trip to your new home.

Best regards
