Subject: What are the chances............!
  Dear Salah/Sharon and to all:

I was rejected twice on student visa by New Delhi Consulate in the year 2001 September. Shortly, I am submitting my application for Immigration. What are the chances of getting my PR.

Can they check my previous history in their systems (Student visa rejection letters and documents which I have submitted at that time and feed back from then Interview) while going through my immigration process?

Experts Kindly respond.

Regards,
Rao

Yes, they CAN and WILL check these information. But I do not see any reason why your immigration application will be affected by your student visa rejections?? May be you should not worry a lot.....cheers. There are other experts who may be able to advise you better perhaps.

Instead of wondering if they would check for previous rejections, you might as well tell them up front about the rejections you received. They might actually appreciate that! But then, it might turn into a rejection No 3. Good luck. What is it that you like in Canada so much? I am just curious.

Dear Rao, we were rejected a work permit while our immigration application in process, and this neither affected our immigration case, nor our status as visitors which we have multiple many times in five years. They seem to be unwilling to give any study or work permit if you have and immigration file.
And hey,? In Canada?, I hope you read this, everything in Canada is beautiful, weather, nature, landscape, friendly people? and I like it so much when it is snowing.

One of the main reason many student visa cases are rejected is due to financial reasons...
If you cannot show a solid finance background the student application is rejected...

Another reason for rejection is that if you get admission in a not recognized university or institution...

Now these have nothing to do with immigration... Because you have a set point system where if you secure 67+ points and have the required money, education etc then they cannot reject your immigration... its a simple deal...

Hope that helps...
