Hi Aftab,

That is true, you don´t need a visa if you have PR. You don´t need a passport either if you go to states, all you need is your little document that you received when you got your PR in Canada.

Aftab and JEMM,

Both of you are dead wrong!!!!

There was a change on the border policy and that was totally against your belief!!!

Now, according to the new rules, every Canadian PR has to obtain visa to enter USA. Only Canadian citizen need not visa.

yes, you do need a visa. Crazy or not but now they want to track your ass(ets) at all time. US is turning wild.

Visit US (in reply to: Visit USA)
Hello Guys,
After hearing all the news about how US is being strict and the delays which can cause the visitors at the port of entry. I am wondering if there is a way to check with any of the authority i.e canadian or US to see if one would be eligible to enter in the US rather than to be there and suffer. By the way I am a Canadian Citizen.

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Maroof

Hi JEMM,

Since Germany is a participating country under VWP (Visa Waiver Program) you need not visa to enter USA.
