Subject: Different forms of AOR letters....Why?
  Hello all,
Can anyone tell me why AOR letters are different? My ltter gives the date the application was received, date processing started and tells me approximately how long the applications are taking. It then informs me to contact the office if nothing is heard in 12 months. It also reads that I will ONLY be contacted again by the office if they require further documents or to inform me if I a to attend an interview or not. I have read on this forum that some letters mention the date of the initial assessment however, mine does not. I thought all letters were standard. Just curious. Australia Skilled worker class
Many thanks
J

AOR letters are issued by individual embassies outside of Canada (as opposed to CPC-M). Each embassy processes applications slightly differently and uses slightly different protocols. I imagine comparing two letters (both being the same immigration category) that came from the same embassy would yield more consistent results.

That?s my best guess.
