| Subject: Does US Visa rejection affect Canadian Visa result |

This relates to Visitors visa to Canada:
My parents were rejected USA Visitors visa once u/s 214b in April,2005.
On 2nd application on 9th May,2005 they were told to wait for administrative processing u/s 221g.We havent heard anything from US consulate since then which was on 9th may.
They will be applying for Canadian visitor´s visa in a few days.
Would these factors related to USA Visa application have bearing on Canadian visitors visa application results?

probably not, but you can anticipate that the US would have similar concerns as Canada. You may not get the answer you want from Canada.

Prior rejections are truly unlikely to affect current decision though some officers may be influenced. A prior rejecion of visitor visa for me did not seem to influence my recent success with a temp worker visa.
To Lina: I was not saying Canada does not deserve waiting! I couldn´t wait for so many years for a PR in Canada or any other country, particularly if I am not already living in that country.
