My timeline is this:
AOR received: July 2001 from ISLAMABAD
Asked for updated IRPA App.: December 2003
Interview: December 2004
At the end of interview, the visa officer did not announce the result because she was not able to contact my previous employer while my present employment, IELTS result and university degrees were quite satisfactory. She asked me that they will send me written decision in few days, but after five months, I still have not received any decision from Islamabad, while my status still exist on-line.
So, Sharon what you assess, what could be the matter? And what I have to do now? Plz reply soon, coz I do not want to loose my case.

have you attempted to contact them by fax saying exactly what you have posted here?
Have you moved? what does your on-line status say?
perhaps they are conducting a backgound check etc. goodness knows. I am sure you are stressed. Perhaps someone else has more experience with this sort of problem.

Thanks Sharon for your immediate concerns. I have attempted twice in this month via fax but not received any reply either by post or fax. My mailing address is still the same. On-line status tells that application is still in progress; first line lists the starting date of my application processing while the second lists interview scheduled date.
