| Subject: Are processing times accurate? |

Hi Everyone,
I am just about to file the sponsorship of my parents from the UK to move to Canada.
I was speaking with immigration the other day and they said I can expect to wait at least 391 before I am even approved to be a sponsor, then the file would be send to the UK to be processed and so forth.
I am just wondering how accurate these numbers are. I´ve doing a little searching on various boards and it seems on occasion it does take years and sometimes not.

It is all relative, this is not necesserily accurate.
Try to call them and talk to another person.... you may get different answer.
