Timeline:
March 07, 2005 application received in CPC in Mississauga, Canada
March 23, 2005 approved in Mississauga as eligible to sponsor my wife
April 08, 2005 e-client shows that my wife?s file was received in Manila
April 18, 2005 I received request from Quebec to fill out Undertaking and CSQ forms
April 18, 2005 filled out Undertaking and CSQ forms plus $250 FEE and was returned to Quebec Immigration Office. This was hand delivered)
April 22, 2005 AOR - my wife received a letter confirming that the file was received and being processed in Manila
April 22, 2005 my wife also received a letter saying that we sent the wrong NBI Clearance. It was marked "for travel abroad". Should be "VISA CANADA".
April 22, 2005 my wife sent NBI Clearance marked "VISA CANADA".
Quebec is taking to long to get my CSQ:
I called up Quebec Immigration and got a different answer every time. First they said that they began analyzing my case on May 4th. Recently they told me they just started on May 16th and it may take between 1 to 2 months to receive the CSQ!!!
Isn´t this taking way too long?
Can people give me their experience and recommendations?

it can take a month!
In my case, my wife applied for the CSQ on 4th February and she got it on 14th March!
so relax; it shouold be with u soon

Hi Amy,
thanks for the response. I remember your case. You did have a credit number wrong so they sent back your file? That is probably why they slowed things down for you?
I have a contact that was able to talk to Quebec Immigration and after looking at my file, said that some cases take longer and it may take upto 3 - 4 more weeks for me!
What I didn´t like is that the calling center gave me different answers as to when they actually started analyzing my file. If they really started on May 16th then what was going on before that!

when we called, they gave us different answers too!!
dont worry; u´ll have it sooner than 3-4 more weeks////

Hi i would like to know if i can fill in the forms electronically or do i need to hand write it?
And also what happen if i don´t get police clearance from another country where i studied for 1year. it is quite difficult actually as i am back in my home country now.

Why it took so long for the release of my CSQ being sponsored by my wife.My wife got her CSQ already but for us still not receive that is why it is really tortured to me and to my kids.Almost 4 year, I and my kids longing for my wife to be with us together.Is this the reality of waiting for tyhe csq?
