Subject: T.B detection test. |
Hi,
I have read a post about T.B.I would like to know what test detect T.B?Is it the blood or the x-ray?Thanks for any info.

2. X-ray: provides info abt lungs.
3. Sputum samples cultured: provides info about active culture/the bacteria in your saliva (this is kinda dangerous....risk of spread!!!)
Thats all I know of. May be more is available these days...

T.B detection test. (in reply to: T.B detection test.) HC - you forgot the skin test. also if you will be tested for sputum, culturing your plemgh (not just a saliva) will cause you 3-months delay bec. of culture time, so more or less 4-months delay before your DMP release your medical results if everything found negative.
