| Subject: Address change for the Sponsorship application |

I sent a Sponsorship application to CPC Mississauga last year and received a confirmation letter later. But I moved recently and unfortunately lost the letter.
I can´t use the CIC online address change because my application hasn´t been processed. And I´ve also contact the CIC call centre but being told that without the file number on the confirmation letter they can´t help me.
What can I do? I definately don´t want to miss the letter once my application is approved. And without the contact with CPC, I am kind worried about the $1,300 fee I have already paid together with the Sponsorship application.

In that Case you can informe to Canada Post for the cahnge of address and they will re-direct your letters to new address.

I did inform Canada Post to transfer my letters for six month. Since I don´t know how long this process gonna take, I can´t forever transfer letters by Canada Post. And I found that eventhough I still lost some letters. Can´t totally reply on Canada Post.

They should be able to give you a file # if you provide your name, DOB, etc.
I got my file # over the phone once when I couldn´t remember it.
