  Hi there,

Just an update of what?s happenning with our application since last I posted... Nothing. They got all the documents they?ve requested plus the passport. Although 80% of applicants get the decisions in 4 months, I don?t see any changes in the e-cas, and no response from the embassy.

I searched this forum and I see you were looking into ordering CAIPS notes last year. Did you get them and how helpful were they if you did get them? (Though I know the final result)

Lighthouse Family,
Still a worried husband

Sorry for not answering sooner. I was in vacation in China.

I will try to answer your question.

The e-cas did not change for me till 2 or 3 days before she received her passport with her visa. When it changed, it said Medical received and Decision made. We will inform you by letter... So don´t worry if nothing changes in e-cas. It is normal.

You will not receive any response from the Embassy because they do not have enough time to answer. If there IS a problem, they will answer you. So, no answer, no problem. You just have to wait and be patient.

I indeed ordered CAIPS. But because a mistake I made (I don´t remember which one), they sent me letter to ask me to correct this mistake. And I did not answer them because my wife received her visa a few days later.

Don´t worry. You will be soon a very happy husband.

Keep me informed.
