Hi every One,
Last September I have submitted an application for immigration to Canada in Buffalo, they started processing it on January.
Since then a lot has happened: I have moved out of US; got a new job and I will get married on September.
Here are my questions:
I want to include my fianc? in my application. How can do that? Should I wait till I have the wedding certificate or can I include him as my fianc? now and later, on September, send them the marriage certificate?
What would happen if I include him after the interview for immigration?
Do I need to inform the Canadian embassy in buffalo about my change of address (although I still want them to correspond with me trough my address in the US)?
Will that make them remove my file from Buffalo and transfer it to the country I currently live in?
Do I need to update them on my Job change? will that effect on scoring my application ( for example I had 3 years of Work experience probably by the time they access my application I will have $ years , will that add to my score ?)

If you want your fiance included you need to get married. There are many reasons to get married but getting married just for immigration purposes is not what you want to do. If you are sure you want to get married then you should, don´t rush to get married just for immigration.

You maybe waived interview. If you add him before the case is finalized it will delay it for a few months. You can also sponsor him after you land in Canada. Apparently that is taking >6 months. IT´s your call. Probably better to finish it off at the same time.

If you can use the US address for corrospondence but still required to declare your physical location, also be aware if you are going to live for more than 6 months, wherever you are currently living then a police certificate will be required from that country. SO best to let them know where you are. They will not necessarily trasnsfer your case, but if interview is required you´ll have to present yourself in the US for interview. If you have no visa issue in the US then that should not be a problem. But it would suck if you could not attend the interview because you could not get a US visa and your file was in a COnsulate in the US. Probalby better to transfer the file where you will be even if it will take longer if visa is an issue.

Once you get your IA you´ll get a from, where you need to tell them where you are living and your job since your application. It doesnt matter what has changed after you apply, you were suppose the meet the criteria the day you applied. So having more experience will not help, but the officer can assign you the points, so it´s kind of upto the immigration officer.

Thanks a bunch for detailed answer. That helps a lot.
I still have two questions left unanswered:
First: which forms should I complete in order to add him to my application; do I need to attach a letter stating the situation as well? What process should I undertake?
Second: the wedding is planned for September, and that is not for the reason of immigration to Canada.
I am afraid that in case I wait until September to submit his documentation, it would be too late to include him since probably I would have the result of my application by then.
As you suggested I want his application to be processed the same time as mine, I do not want to go to Canada without him or to go and get stocked there for six month before he can get the residency visa and join me.
So, can I include him as my fianc? now and later, on September, send them the marriage certificate?
I appreciate your help very much
