Subject: Question regarding Right to Permanent Residence Fe |

|
Folks:
I am applying for a Permanent Residency in Canada with my spouse. I have just got a letter from the Consulate with regards to the stages in processing.
The letter mentions that I would need to submit the Right to Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF) and that the RPRF needs to be in the form of a certified check or money order or bank draft payable to ?Canadian Consulate General.?
The letter also adds ? ?The amount of the RPRF is $ 975.00 CAD (or $ 715 USD)
In this reference I have 2 questions
1. Does the RPRF need to be in US Currency or Canadian Currency? This is not quite evident from the letter that I received. So please let me know.
2. Since my application is being processed for myself & my spouse
? Can the Certified Check / Money Order be as 1 Consolidated Check or does that need to be as 2 separate Checks/ Money Order.
I look forward to getting your responses.
Thanks very much.
