Guys... if you are landing during summer time then remember... Most and almost all university campus residences turn into cheap hotels during summer times... you can contact the universities in the ares you want to go and see if you can book yourself a cheap accomodation... they do monthly rentals too... I know they do in Toronto...
Anyways Good luck to everyone who are starting a new life in Canada...

HI,
I did visited some of the Summer housing at University of Toronto.
They are even expensive than a Motel.
YOu have any cheaper summer housing . It will be nice ifyou can share

Look for Housing Department. Ususally is the undergraduate housing office.
University of Toronto´s website is www.utoronto.ca search for summer housing there...

this is an example of prices at St. joseph´s summer res.
These are weekely rates including 21 meals... you cant go wrong here... This is the best rate you will find in town.
Say for a single person its $275 ($39.28/day) or $200 ($28.57/day) in shared accomodation
You are only paying like $40/day. Thats really cheap in downtown Toronto area...
you can find some backpackers place they may be cheap... around $25 or so... but then you decide... The univesity rooms are all furnished and stuff so check it out for yourself.
Its you who have to finally decide what you want...
