| Subject: SIN and PR Card ! |

Hello All -
Two questions :
1. Do you normally get PR and SIN cards together within 4 weeks in the mail after landing or they are sent seperately provided you have mentioned a Canadian Address at the port of entry ???
2. Can a legal representative that you appoint while applying for a lost/never received card collect your PR card from CIC centre the card is held with ???

PR card is from the immigration and the SIN card is from the Social Development, so they are two different organizations. Each should take 3 to 6 weeks to be mailed to your address in Canada. They will arrive to you in two different envelops.
My case, got the PR in 4 weeks and the SIN in 3 weeks.
