I applied for pr from new delhi chc last year in the month of july-04 and got AOR sept.04. Now i got job in dubai and shifting next month.
- Shall i inform the same to CHC - New Delhi ?
- Will they shift my application to London chc office? Will it effect on my status anyway ?
- As the company in dubai retains my passport for the bonded period
say two years.Will it effect on my status anyway ?
Plz. help me. Its urgent.

Deep,
Yes you have to inform CIC of your new location and address.
They will NOT shift your file to London, it will remain in its original location.
Keep someone in India to follow letters received from CIC and let him mail, email you with the content.
Inform CIC India with your email, they may send you some emails.
It will not affect you case at all. But take care that once you spend over 6 month in Dubai, you most likely will be required by CIC to get a prolice record from UAE.
Last, it is not allowed for the employer to get hold of your passport while in UAE. This is the law, instead, they must keep your labour card.
I am in Dubai, moved from Cairo while application in process, got the approval, landed from Dubai to Canada and now back to Dubai and never left my passport to the employer.

Yes ´deep´, Saleh is right. It is your responsibility to update the Visa Section in New Delhi about this latest development by substantiating relevant supporting documents such as notarized copies of employment contract, pages of passport containing visa and your present mailing address in Dubai.
Application transfer or even interview transfer is not possible now. It has been prohibited by an amendment in law.
Further remember that your application will take more than 3 years to process, so do your job in Dubai with relax. If your documentation is sufficient, then Visa Section will not contact you during the entire process of your application. However, if there will be need to contact you, then Visa Section will always send any correspondence on your present mailing address. So, it is your responsibility to make sure that your ´present mailing address´ always remain updated in your immigration records. Further note that Canadian Visa Offices worldwide do not use ´email´ for correspondence due to security reasons.
