Hi all,
I just wanted to post our timeline for spouse application in Nairobi.
Submitted ? Feb 15th 2005
Processing starts ? March 3rd 2005
Decision Made ? April 6th 2005 (letter of approval sent)
Processing in Nairobi ? May 16th 2005
Decision Made ? May 26th2005 (letter of approval sent)
I?m Canadian living in Uganda, I married my Ugandan husband here in Uganda. We applied for a tourist visa in October of 2004 and were turned down 2 times before getting a visa on the third attempt. I think coming back ?proved? our relationship as genuine and helped our case. We expected a 6-19 month wait. We also included everything like medical, passport and all the fees at once so they didn?t have to ask us to send anything else.

How long does a PR decision take (in reply to: spouse got a PR Visa - Nairobi)
I am sponsoring my wife who lives in Rwanda. I live in Toronto Canada. On August 20th, 2007, we submitted all extra-documents requested (proof of financial support, proof of correspondance, no kids,...)
All other documentations were complete (medical, PR Applications,...)
I would like to know how long it will take CIC Nairobi Office to make a decision.
