Subject: refernece letters from employer

hi guys
I only have a letter from employer that states the period of employment and position, but doesn´t say anything about salary and responsibilities. this is the way they give refernce in my country, very simple.
Did anyone ever had a problem with that? has visa office ever requested details after?
