| Subject: Canada or Mexico?? |

Hi,
Im mexican,my girlfriend is canadian.We want to get married this year,we are planning to live in Canada.I know once we are married she has to sponsor me.My question is:what is the best thing to do?Should we get marry in Mexico and then she would claim me?Or it would be better if we get married in Canada and we do the paper work there?Can I get a temporary work permit when im waiting for my residence?

I would recomend to apply from abroad , it is safer for you Pedro.
If for some reason your application doesn`t go through , you can appeal the decision if you apply from Mexico.
If you apply from within Canada and your application is not succesful is not an easy thing to appeal and you might be removed from Canada.

This forum would not be the right place to find out the stats about how easy is it to hook up with non-Canadian chicks.

I would say just stay in Mexico. Canada certainly doesn´t need any more mexicans and their damn drugs.
